Seven hospitals and health systems received a credit downgrade during the past month, according to a report from HFA Partners.

The hospitals and health systems receiving credit downgrades included the following:

  • Catholic Health Initiatives (Englewood, Colo.) — from A1 to A2 (Moody’s)
  • East Liverpool (Ohio) City Hospital — from Ba3 to B2 (Moody’s)
  • Einstein Healthcare (Philadelphia) — ­from BBB+ to BBB (Fitch)
  • Fisher-Titus Medical Hospital (Norwalk, Ohio) ­— from A to A- (S&P)
  • Nash Health Care System (Rocky Mount, N.C.) ­— from A to A- (S&P)
  • Parrish Medical Center (Titusville, Fla.) — from A- to BBB+ (Fitch)
  • Southcoast Health System (Fall River, Mass.) — from A2 to A3 (Moody’s)
