4 hospitals receive credit downgrades in past month

Four hospitals and health systems received a credit downgrade during the past month, according to a report from HFA Partners.

The hospitals and health systems receiving credit downgrades included the following:

  • Daughters of Charity Health System (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) — from B- to CCC (Fitch)
  • Mount SinaiHospital (New York City) — from A2 to A3 (Moody’s)
  • Partners Healthcare System (Boston) — from Aa2 to Aa3 (Moody’s)
  • Russell Hospital Corporation (AlexanderCity, Ala.) — from BB+ to BB- (S&P)
