Late last year, a federal report cited the hospital for poor compliance to hand hygiene policy, incorrectly maintaining humidity levels in ORs and dusty or cluttered holes in the ceilings, all of which can lead to the spread of infection. A follow-up inspection of the hospital was conducted in January, after which federal regulators found the hospital was back in compliance with Medicare standards.
