Vi-Anne Antrum is senior vice president and system chief nursing officer for Cone Health, an integrated health system based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
A seasoned executive, she brings more than 25 years of nursing and operations experience to the role. Dr. Antrum has contributed to the nursing field through publications, presentations, and national task forces, and she serves on the American Organization for Nursing Leadership’s System Chief Nurse Executive Committee. She is also a member of the North Carolina Healthcare Association’s workforce advisory council and the North Carolina Institute of Medicine’s equity and nursing task force.
Her professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives, Sigma Theta Tau, the North Carolina Nurses Association, and the American Nurses Association. Dr. Antrum’s honors include the ACHE Regent’s Early Careerist Award, the North Carolina Great 100 Nurse Award, the Triad Nurse of Distinction Award, and the Triad Business Journal Outstanding Woman in Business Award, and she currently serves as the ACHE Regent for North Carolina.
She was named a GE Academy Nurse Fellow in 2024. Dr. Antrum earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in systems-level leadership from Thomas Edison State University, and she is board certified in executive nursing leadership by AONL and the ANCC and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
