Tom Lubotsky serves as vice president and chief supply chain officer at Allina Health, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit health system, a role he has held since 2019.
He provides overall leadership for Allina’s supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, clinical resource management, procure-to-pay, logistics, business performance and technology.
Under his leadership, Allina has shifted away from a decentralized sourcing model toward an approach grounded in clinical governance and technology-driven efficiency, using physician-led clinical subcommittees to optimize contracts and predictive analytics to anticipate disruptions.
Before joining Allina, he held the same chief supply chain officer role at Advocate Health Care and previously served as president of Akron General Partners, vice president at Premier Inc., corporate clinical service administrator at the Detroit Medical Center and associate vice president at HealthONE.
He earned a master of healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor of business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Lubotsky is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
In 2022 he was inducted into the Bellwether League Foundation Hall of Fame for Healthcare Supply Chain Leadership, one of the field’s highest honors.
