Scott Meiser serves as vice president of supply chain at Allegheny Health Network (AHN), the Pittsburgh-based integrated delivery system that is part of Highmark Health.
He brings a cross-industry background in procurement, strategic sourcing and operations to his healthcare supply chain leadership role.
Before his current position, Mr. Meiser served within Highmark Health as director of procure-to-pay operations and center of excellence, where he led a team overseeing procurement operations, payables and procurement technology.
Earlier in his career he held senior procurement and program leadership roles in the information and analytics sector, including global director of procurement programs and global director of software asset management at RELX Group, and a senior director role in digital solutions alliances at LexisNexis. His earlier experience spans commodity management and financial auditing at BNSF Railway and a senior purchasing management role at Abercrombie & Fitch, giving him broad exposure to sourcing across multiple industries. He has completed executive education at Babson College, earning a certificate in leading customer-centric growth.
Mr. Meiser’s career reflects a focus on building disciplined, technology-enabled procurement operations now applied within a large health system.
