Robert Stone is CEO of City of Hope, a leading cancer research and treatment organization, where he holds the Helen and Morgan Chu Chief Executive Officer Distinguished Chair. He joined City of Hope in 1996, became president in 2012 and assumed the CEO role in 2014, building a long record of leadership at the institution.
Under his leadership, City of Hope expanded from its Southern California base into a national cancer enterprise, including the 2022 acquisition of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, extending its reach into Illinois, Georgia and Arizona.
