Nalin Kulasekara is the system vice president of operations and supply chain at Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a multistate Catholic health system serving communities in Illinois and Wisconsin.
He was named to the system role after serving as executive director of operations at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois, where he held senior operational responsibility.
His career reflects deep, long-tenured experience in healthcare supply chain leadership, including roles at SSM Health, where over more than a decade he served as vice president of supply chain operations and, earlier, vice president of supply chain management and support services.
He also served as chief financial officer of Epworth Children & Family Services, adding financial leadership to his operations and supply chain background. Colleagues have noted the depth of his supply chain expertise and his willingness to mentor and share knowledge across the field.
He holds a master of business administration. His combined experience across supply chain, hospital operations and finance positions him to lead enterprise-wide operational strategy for HSHS.
