Laura Sehnert, MD

Laura Sehnert, MD, is chief medical officer of UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, Colo. A board-certified emergency medicine physician, Dr. Sehnert chose to build her career in Steamboat Springs out of a deep love for the community and the outdoor lifestyle it offers, and brings a collaborative care philosophy centered on patient and family involvement. As CMO, she has championed the benefits of YVMC’s integration into the UCHealth system, highlighting the mutual sharing of best practices across the network. The 39-bed acute care hospital serves a five-county area of Northwest Colorado and a portion of South Central Wyoming.
