Jason Richeson is system senior vice president and chief technology officer at Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health. In this role, he sets technology direction and leads engineering, solution delivery and the digital workplace across the system’s national footprint.
His career in healthcare technology includes leadership experience at San Francisco-based Dignity Health, a CommonSpirit predecessor organization, as well as at UnitedHealth Group. His areas of expertise include IT strategy, software development life cycle, business intelligence and enterprise application delivery.
He leads technology efforts at enterprise scale, spanning the engineering and delivery capabilities that support care across CommonSpirit’s markets. He is focused on modernizing technology platforms and applying emerging tools to improve how care is delivered and is recognized among his peers as an enterprise technology leader.
