Gabriella Ode is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and advanced shoulder surgery at the HSS Sports Medicine Institute.
She serves as fellowship director for the HSS Orthopaedic Sports Medicine fellowship and is an associate professor at Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Ode is head team orthopaedic surgeon for the New York Liberty, the 2024 WNBA champions, and an assistant team orthopaedic surgeon for the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets.
Her clinical practice focuses on arthroscopic and open shoulder, knee and elbow surgery, and on the care of women athletes of all ages.
She is a nationally recognized expert in computer-navigated shoulder arthroplasty, with advanced expertise in both primary and revision shoulder arthroplasty. Her surgical practice also includes arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and reconstruction as well as arthroscopic and open shoulder stabilization.
Dr. Ode is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Association.
