David Entwistle has served as president and CEO of Stanford Health Care since 2016, leading a network of five hospitals, three Stanford School of Medicine facilities and nine affiliated hospitals across the West Coast and Hawaii. Overseeing more than 18,000 employees, he champions innovation and precision health, aiming to make personalized medicine accessible to all patients. Mr. Entwistle is also active in hospital sustainability initiatives, reimagining healthcare’s role in environmental stewardship. His experience aligns with the BHC executives Council’s focus on future-oriented executives in academic medicine.
