Dennis L. Laraway, MBA, serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s most recognized nonprofit academic medical centers headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, Mr. Laraway oversees all financial operations and corporate finance strategies across Cleveland Clinic’s expansive enterprise, which includes 23 hospitals and 280 outpatient facilities across multiple states and international locations.
Mr. Laraway joined Cleveland Clinic in March 2023, bringing deep expertise in healthcare financial leadership developed across decades at some of the nation’s most prominent health systems. Prior to Cleveland Clinic, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Banner Health in Phoenix, Arizona — a $12 billion nonprofit health system — where he led insurance and value-based care financial initiatives and provided financial leadership throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also held CFO positions at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas, and Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas.
Mr. Laraway holds a Master of Business Administration from the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has held teaching appointments at Arizona State University and Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business.
