Bryan Sisk is senior vice president and chief nursing executive of Memorial Hermann Health System, the largest not-for-profit health system in the Houston area, a role he assumed in 2022.
He brings more than 20 years of nursing and healthcare leadership experience to the position.
Before joining Memorial Hermann, Dr. Sisk served as chief nurse executive for HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Division in Brentwood, Tennessee, where he oversaw operations for more than 4,000 nurses.
Earlier, he spent roughly a decade in leadership roles, including chief nurse executive, at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Temple, Texas. A 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army, Dr. Sisk is a member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau and serves on the advisory board of the NSF Center for Health Organization Transformation.
He was named to Becker’s 2024 list of chief nursing officers to know. Dr. Sisk earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University, a Master of Public Health from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University.
