Beth Draves serves as chief nursing officer for Banner University Medicine Tucson, where she provides executive leadership for nursing practice, clinical operations, quality, safety, and professional development across the Tucson market.

With nearly two decades of progressive healthcare leadership experience, Ms. Draves has led strategic initiatives focused on patient outcomes, operational excellence, workforce development, and innovation in care delivery. Over the course of her career, she has held leadership roles spanning emergency services, behavioral health, care operations, and executive nursing administration, and she is recognized for a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to nursing excellence that drives system-wide improvement in quality and patient experience. Among her contributions, Ms. Draves led the implementation of multidisciplinary discharge rounds to improve communication and reduce length of stay, sponsored system-wide surge management initiatives, and established daily management boards to support continuous improvement.

She has strengthened academic partnerships with the University of Arizona College of Nursing, realigned nursing leadership and quality structures to better support organizational goals, and helped develop workforce development programs in partnership with Arizona Athletics. Ms. Draves is actively engaged in advancing healthcare and nursing education throughout Arizona.

She serves on several healthcare and nursing advisory boards, including the Arizona College of Nursing Advisory Board and the University of Arizona College of Nursing Dean’s Strategic Advisory Council, and she is a board member of the Tucson Nurses Week Foundation and Children’s Clinics for Rehabilitative Services.

She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. Ms. Draves is dedicated to developing future healthcare leaders, advancing nursing excellence, and fostering partnerships that improve the health and well-being of the communities she serves.
