Amy Perry is president and CEO of Banner Health, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States, based in Phoenix with roughly 30 hospitals across multiple states.
Ms. Perry became CEO in 2024, succeeding longtime leader Peter Fine, after joining Banner as president and COO in 2021. She brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including service as an executive vice president at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, a roughly two-decade career at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, and leadership of the hospital division at Atlantic Health System in New Jersey. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and a graduate degree from Barry University.
Ms. Perry has been recognized among healthcare’s most influential leaders and has received innovator-of-the-year honors in multiple states. Her leadership emphasizes operational performance, growth and innovation across a large multistate system, combining strategic vision with hands-on operating discipline.
