The health system will transition its acute and ambulatory facilities to Cerner’s platform, which provides clinicians with a complete digital record of their patients’ health histories, including clinical and financial data. It includes an online portal that patients can use to message providers, schedule appointments and access their health history.

Additionally, transitioning to Cerner will improve interoperability and communication between Columbus Regional and its parent Charlotte N.C.-based Atrium Health.
