Excel Medical’s Lighthouse Program allows health systems to participate in the design and development of innovations aimed toward improving clinician efficiency and satisfaction with Epic apps. The program also seeks to provide real-time physiological data across Epic’s apps to eliminate unnecessary paper processes.
Allina Health implemented an Epic EHR 15 years ago. The nonprofit health system includes a network of 12 hospitals, rehabilitation centers, ambulatory care facilities and retail pharmacies.
Excel Medical integrated its patient surveillance tools with Epic in January. The company’s software platform supports patient monitors, medical devices, digital cardiac monitor documentation, alarm management and real-time physiological surveillance.
