Google recently posted several job openings related to its health business. Below are four open positions as of April 10:

Amazon's proposed $3.9 billion deal to acquire 1Life Healthcare, which operates One Medical's primary care clinics in 25 U.S. markets, is facing more scrutiny as the FTC has allegedly hired outside economists to review the deal, SeekingAlpha reported Feb. 3. 

Amazon reported a loss of $2.7 billion for 2022, its first unprofitable showing in nine years, according to financial results released Feb. 2.

Alphabet's Verily has partnered with Tokyo-based pharmaceutical company Otsuka Pharmaceuticals on a trial for a new antidepressant. 

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said Jan. 4 the company plans to eliminate 18,000 jobs throughout the organization, some of which include employees spearheading its healthcare initiatives, CNBC reported Jan. 31. 

Amazon has experimented with different projects in healthcare the past few years, but its current focus seems to be at the pharmacy counter — the digital one, at least.
