CVS Health’s primary care company Oak Street Health is implementing a new EHR system, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to Becker’s.
“We believe the new platform will provide greater stability and ease for our clinicians and patients, offer more seamless communication and coordination with providers outside of Oak Street Health and across CVS Health, and further power Oak Street Health’s proven care model for older patients,” the spokesperson said in a written statement to Becker’s. “We’re excited to make this available to our talented providers and believe it will enable even greater long-term growth and scale for Oak Street Health.”
CVS Health did not name the EHR vendor. However, in 2017 the company announced it had selected Epic as the EHR system for CVS Specialty’s care management programs.
CVS completed its $10.6 billion acquisition of Chicago-based Oak Street Health in 2023.
