Marrero, La.-based West Jefferson Medical Center is partnering with online medical marketplace MDsave to offer cash prices to patients with no insurance or a high deductible.
The MDsave marketplace allows hospitals to bundle medical services and offer them to patients at a single price. Additionally, MDsave works to connect local employers with local hospitals, according to the Sept. 27 MDsave news release.
"We are excited about this partnership in the greater New Orleans area knowing we share a similar mission of providing quality care in a comforting and cost-effective manner," MDsave CEO Paul Ketchel said. "We believe with each new partnership we help bridge the gap between patients who need specialized healthcare and those who deliver high-quality care without the confusion and stress normally associated with procedures requiring multiple providers and facilities."
