Washington Regional Medical Center in Arkansas Reduces Employee Pay by 3%

Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark., is cutting the pay of about 2,000 of its employee by around 3 percent instead of cutting up to 70 jobs, according to a report from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.

All hospital employees will see their pay reduced by 2.9 percent while executives and department directors will see a reduction of 3 percent.

The hospital will also cut bonuses and reduce the hospital’s contribution to employee 401(k) plans, according to the report.
