Current CEO Eneida Roldan receives $665,000 in annual compensation. A compensation committee of the Public Health Trust, the system’s governing body, said the CEO could receive “up to $975,000,” though Commission Chairman Joe Martinez said he did not think the struggling system could afford to provide that level of compensation.
Mr. Migoya reportedly told media sources he was willing to take less than Ms. Roldan’s current salary, though he said he would accept incentive bonuses if the system began to recover. Jackson Health is expected to lose $103 million in 2011, following two years of significant losses.
