Hospital CFOs see compensation rise in 2017

Hospital and health system CFOs saw increases in total cash compensation from 2016 to 2017, according to a SullivanCotter report.

SullivanCotter gathered data from more than 2,000 organizations, which represented approximately 30,000 executives and managers, to report on increases in total cash compensation for executives in different sizes and types of hospitals and health systems.

The median increase in total cash compensation for independent health system CFOs was 4.6 percent from 2016 to 2017. Independent hospital CFOs saw an increase of 3.2 percent, and CFOs of system-owned hospitals saw an increase of 2 percent, according to the report.
