CMHS officials said the layoffs were due to Medicare cuts and declining admissions. Laid off employees include clerical workers and technician positions in radiology, lab services, pharmacy and other areas, according to the report.
In 2010, Mr. Wilde had a base salary of $560,000 and total compensation of $995,800. However, the total compensation reflects more than $320,000 of deferred compensation that will not be paid until Mr. Wilde retires.
