Three cities within the Washington, D.C., metro area ranked among the top 10 cities where a large percentage of women earn high salaries and own companies, with Arlington, Va., snagging the No. 1 spot, according to an analysis by SmartAsset.
SmartAsset gathered data from the U.S. Census Bureau to rank each city according to the percent of women who hold bachelor's degrees, the median earnings for women with full-time jobs, the percent of women-owned businesses, the unemployment rate, housing costs as a percent of women's earnings and the percent of women who earn at least $75,000.
