Missouri’s Northeast Regional Unveils $1M Renovated Patient Tower

Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo., has unveiled its newly renovated patient tower, according to a Kirksville Daily Express news report.

The hospital spent approximately $1 million to renovate the patient tower’s third and fourth floors, which now feature a warmer appearance with new wood floors, flat-screen TVs and warmer colors. The renovation also includes newly installed white boards to increase communications among healthcare providers and communications between physicians and patients.

The patient tower renovations closely follow other additions, including the new Missouri Heart Center outpatient clinic and renovations to the OB unit on the fifth floor of the patient tower.
