Duke University Researchers Find Patient Expectations Correlate With Coronary Angiography Outcome

Patient expectations were positively correlated with survival after coronary angiography, according to an Archives of Internal Medicine study published by researchers from Durham, N.C.’s Duke University Medical Center.

Optimistic recovery expectations were associated with both functional status after one year and survival within a 15-year period.
