A cancer treatment project includes a new linear accelerator, which will allow patients to receive both chemotherapy and radiation at the hospital. In the past few years, Bert Fish’s old linear accelerator had become obsolete and patients had to seek radiation treatment at other facilities, according to the report. The hospital plans to reveal its improved oncology department in October.
