Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak, Mich.). The 1,100-bed Beaumont Hospital is home to the Beaumont Heart & Vascular Center, which includes Michigan’s first center dedicated to women’s heart care: the Ministrelli Women’s Heart Center. The hospital also houses Beaumont’s Suzanne and Herbert Tyner Center for Cardiovascular Interventions, a 9,000-square-foot facility with a hybrid operating room to accommodate multispecialty teams performing complex procedures. In 2017, U.S. News & World Report ranked Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak No. 26 in the nation for cardiac care and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association designated the hospital a Blue Distinction Center+ for cardiac care.
