The following hospitals announced or completed plans in the last week to expand, upgrade or renovate their facilities. 

Tucson-based University of Arizona Health Sciences will place the final steel beam into its $165 million innovation building Nov. 17.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health is investing $50 million to expand the Huntersville Medical Center, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is still on track with its 16-story, $603 million patient tower, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Morgantown, W. Va.-based J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, the flagship facility of Morgantown-based WVU Health System, will build a $152 million, 10-story patient tower to house WVU Medicine Children's.
