Columbus, Ohio-based Mount Carmel Health System is planning to build a 190,000-square-foot, 60-bed hospital and ambulatory center in Dublin, Ohio, The Columbus Dispatch reported Dec. 9.

Pittsburgh-based UPMC will build a new 17-story, 636-bed tower on the former Children's Hospital site.

Toms River, N.J.-based Community Medical Center will update its campus through a $600 million investment, which is expected to be completed in seven to 10 years, the Asbury Park Press reported Dec. 8.

Richmond, Va.-based VCU Health cut the ribbon Dec. 6 on its new Adult Outpatient Pavilion, which is the health system's largest outpatient facility and cost $384 million.
