Franciscan Health Rensselaer (Ind.) will soon begin a $28 million project to upgrade and modernize the hospital, according to an Aug. 10 press release from the health system.

UChicago Medicine has broken ground on a two-story, 130,000-square-foot multispecialty care center and microhospital in Crown Point, Ind. 

New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Cohen Children's Medical Center opened its $110 million, 24,000-square-foot pediatric surgical center Aug. 9.

Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital is planning a new hospital in North Port, Fla., ABC affiliate WSSB reported Aug. 4. 

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital broke ground on a $60 million expansion and renovation project in Port Charlotte, Fla., according to an Aug. 5 report from the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

Representatives from University of Chicago Medicine held a ceremonial groundbreaking on a new $86 million, 130,000-square-foot microhospital and outpatient center on Aug. 3 in Crown Point, Ind., according to a report from the Northwest Indiana Business Magazine.
