Missouri issues $97M to finish construction of Fulton State Hospital

Fulton (Mo.) State Hospital will receive $97.2 million in bonds issued by the Missouri Office of Administration to conclude its construction, reports Columbia Daily Tribune.

The project — totaling $211 million — will replace the original buildings with a mental hospital. The bonds are the second of two issued by the Office of Administration. The first bonds were used to start construction in 2015.   

Construction is set to reach completion in 2018, according to the report.
