Children’s Health in Dallas opens clinic for foster children

Dallas-based Children’s Health opened a clinic to provide medical, behavioral and mental healthcare to foster children, KHOU reports.

The 12,000-square-foot Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence looks to provide care at no cost to patients. The center is modeled after the Children’s Health’s Plano (Texas) campus, and the two sites will provide care to 3,000 foster children, according to KERA News.  

The clinic was funded through a $20 million donation from the Rees-Jones Foundation.
