St. Luke’s will integrate M*Modal Fluency Direct and M*Modal CDI Engage into its Epic EHR to provide physicians with automated feedback as they dictate or type notes into a patient record. This feedback might include identifying or correcting common codes, like ICD-10, to improve accuracy.
With these computer-assisted physician documentation solutions — which use artificial intelligence and natural language understanding technology — St. Luke’s officials said they hope to standardize clinical documentation workflows across the network.
