15 most, least charitable states

Utah is the most charitable state, featuring the highest volunteer rate and most volunteer hours per capita, according to WalletHub.

WalletHub analyzed 50 states by comparing them across 19 key indicators of charitable behavior, such as the volunteer rate and the share of income donated. The rankings were published Nov. 6. 

The scores range from Utah’s 69.65 to Arizona’s 41.82. Below are the 15 states with the highest and lowest scores for giving.
