Anthony “Tony” Speranzo. Executive Vice President and CFO of Ascension (St. Louis). Part of Ascension since 2002, Mr. Speranzo has more than three decades of experience leading financial activities and investments for health systems. He was previously senior vice president and CFO of St. Louis-based Ascension Health. He also was managing director with U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, now Piper Jaffray, an investment bank and asset management firm. Mr. Speranzo spent 11 years as senior vice president and CFO of St. Joseph Health System in Orange, Calif., before he went into banking.
