Cambridge Health Alliance to Lay Off 30

Cambridge (Mass.) Health Alliance plans to lay off 30 employees, including some managers, according to a Boston Business Journal report.

The layoffs are expected to improve efficiency and improve the safety-net system’s financial position.

CHA had a total net loss of roughly $20 million in fiscal year 2013, ending Sept. 30, according to the report.
