St. Louis-based Ascension has expanded its footprint as Crittenton Hospital Medical Center, a 290-bed facility in Rochester, Mich., is now part of Ascension Michigan.
As part of Ascension Michigan, Crittenton will be better positioned to participate with other members of Ascension in clinically integrated systems of care to manage the health of populations.
"We look forward to integrating Crittenton into Ascension Michigan and sharing best practices throughout the state and with all of our clinically integrated systems of care," said Robert J. Henkel, executive vice president of Ascension, and president and CEO of Ascension Health.
