6. In 2011, the hospital recorded $29.1 million in gross charges and $1.6 million in net income, according to the American Hospital Directory.

7. The hospital received a Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades in 2013 and was named in the top 100 Critical Access Hospitals by the National Rural Health Association in 2011.   

8. The hospital was built in 1962 and remodeled in 1977, 1985 and 1999.

9. The 135 employees are aided by 50 volunteers from the Hospital Auxiliary.

10. While the hospital is operated by Banner Health, the property and the hospital structure are owned by Washakie County.
