20 Hospital and Health System Executive Moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves occurred within the past week, beginning with the most recent.

1. Allen Waldo, CEO of Cooper County Memorial Hospital in Boonville, Mo., announced his resignation, effective immediately, according to a Columbia Daily Tribune report.

2. SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center has named Damon Harbison COO, effective July 1.

3. Dallas-based Forest Park Medical Center named James Davis CEO of its Fort Worth campus.

4. Dallas-based Forest Park Medical Center named Elisa Banigan CFO of its Frisco campus.

5. Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky., selected Greg Moore as vice president and CFO.

6. The Lacombe-based Louisiana Heart Hospital Medical Group selected Steve Blades, CEO of Louisiana Heart Hospital, as the medical group's first CEO.

7. Russell Harrington Jr., president and CEO of Little Rock, Ark.-based Baptist Health, plans to retire, effective July 1, according to an Arkansas Business report.

8. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital named Gary Kerr CEO.

9. Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., selected Jayme Chancellor as COO.

10. The Children's Hospital of New Orleans named Mary Perrin CEO, effective April 1, according to a report by The Times-Picayune.

11. HealthEast Care System, based in St. Paul, Minn., named Doug Davenport as senior vice president and CFO, effective March 17.

12. Doug Doris, CEO of Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, N.C., announced plans to retire at the end of March, according to a Sanford Herald report.

13. Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Okla., appointed Steve Hartgraves president and CEO, effective March 17, according to an Altus Times report.

14. Carthage (N.Y.) Area Hospital selected Donald Schnackel as CFO, according to a Watertown Daily Times report.

15. Independence, Iowa-based Buchanan County Health Center selected Ben Stevens as CFO.

16. Wade Johnson, president and CEO of Rockport, Maine-based Pen Bay Healthcare, is leaving his position for a new opportunity in Idaho, according to a Pen Bay Pilot report.

17. El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif., selected Iftikhar Hussain as CFO, effective in April.

18. Pascagoula, Miss.-based Singing River Health System selected Kevin Holland as CEO, according to a Mississippi Business Journal report.

19. Charles Fahd II, CEO of Massena (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital, announced plans to retire at the end of 2014 when his contract expires, according to a Watertown Daily Times report.

20. The board of directors of Dr. John Warner Hospital in Clinton, Ill., will not renew CEO Earl Sheehy's contract when it expires on April 30, according to a Herald & Review report.
