Here are 11 recently announced or started capital projects at hospitals and health systems during the past week, beginning with the most recent.

1. Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Dyer to Soon Complete $11M in Construction Projects
Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Dyer (Ind.) will complete emergency department, laboratory and surgical unit expansion and renovation projects totaling $11 million in December.

2. Baptist Health Breaks Ground on New $130M Medical Center in Arkansas
Little Rock, Ark.-based Baptist Health broke ground on the new Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway (Ark.), which will cost an estimated $130 million.

3. $73M Project at Lawrence General Hospital Approved by Massachusetts Public Health Council
Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital's $73 million plan to construct a new surgical building and to renovate part of an existing surgical suite was approved by the Massachusetts Public Health Council.

8. HCA West Florida Plans Hospital Construction Projects Totaling $136.8M+
Tampa-based HCA West Florida, a network of 16 hospitals and 12 ambulatory surgery centers, announced expansion and renovation projects at a number of its hospitals, totaling more than $136.8 million.

9. Albany Medical Center Plans $21.7M Renovation Project, Seeks Tax-Exempt Bonds
Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center is seeking a tax-exempt bond to finance an approximately $21.7 million renovation project.

11. NorthShore Highland Park Hospital to Possibly Begin $74.4M Expansion, Renovation Project This Year
NorthShore Highland Park (Ill.) Hospital, part of Evanston, Ill.-based NorthShore University HealthSystem, could begin a $74.4 million renovation and expansion project this fall if the Highland Park City Council approves the project.
