15 latest hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Savannah, Ga.-based Memorial Health selected Matt Hasbrouck to serve as COO.

2. Jim Millard, president and CEO of Kenmore (N.Y.) Mercy Hospital, is retiring Jan. 6, 2018.

3. Peggy Naleppa, DrM, is retiring from her roles as president and CEO of Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Regional Health System and Peninsula Regional Medical Center Jan. 3, 2018.

4. Sandusky, Ohio-based Firelands Regional Health System President and CEO Martin Tursky is resigning, effective Dec. 31.

5. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health selected Jorge F. Hernandez as vice president of supply chain and chief procurement officer.

6. Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital in Houston hired Ann Szapor to serve as the vice president and chief nursing officer.

7. Oklahoma City-based Integris Health tapped Tommy Ibrahim, MD, to serve as CMO.

8. Kahului, Hawaii-based Hale Makua Health Services selected Kirsten Szabo to serve as CFO.

9. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health selected Andrew K. Ta, MD, as CMO.

10. Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Mass., selected Harrison Bane to serve as president, effective Jan. 4, 2018.

11. Patti M. Ellish, president and CEO of St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, La., plans to retire, effective April 30, 2018.

12. Cheverly, Md.-based University of Maryland Capital Region Health President and CEO Neil J. Moore is stepping down, effective June 2018.

13. Portland, Ore.-based Legacy Health named Trent Green permanent president of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center and Unity Center for Behavioral Health, both based in Portland, effective Dec. 24.

14. Washington, D.C.-based United Medical Center appointed Eric Li, MD, its interim CMO.

15. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health tapped Kiera Page to serve as corporate chief human resources officer.
