Franciscan Physicians Hospital in Munster, Ind., has reported it has a $57 million economic impact on its community, according to a Times report.
Franciscan Physicians Hospital's economic impact report included the following:
• Last year, the hospital paid $911,118 in sales tax and property tax revenue.
• Franciscan Physicians reported 857 inpatient and 7,699 outpatient visits.
• The facility employed 151 healthcare professionals, with a total payroll of $17.7 million.
• Approximately $38.9 million and just under $1 million were spent on supply purchases and capital spending, respectively.
