The American College of Surgeons announced Thursday the launch of a new online career center for surgeons and employers offering career opportunities.
Called the Surgery Career Connection, the tool is powered by YourMembership, a provider of job websites and specialized career centers. The site will allow surgeons to post anonymous resumes and control who can see their complete information. It also allows surgeons to access the site on mobile devices and alerts them if a new job is available that matches their experience and interests.
The Surgery Career Connection enables employers to reach out to passive job seekers with emails, social media channels and brand advertising.
