Leidos names Noel Allender Managing Director of Epic vendor practice

In a news release this morning, Leidos Health named Noel Allender the Managing Director of Epic vendor practice.

(Reston, Va.) May 31, 2016 -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a health, national security, and infrastructure solutions company, today announced the appointment of Noel Allender, Epic Managing Director. In this role, Allender will be responsible for driving sales and expanding opportunities for professional services and health IT optimization consulting. She will also serve as a trusted partner and collaborate with business leaders to ensure customer satisfaction and superior quality standards are met in the delivery of services.

Prior to Leidos, Allender was Senior Managing Director, Delivery Services at Jacobus Consulting, where she was responsible for the development and operations of the division as well as growth, profit and loss management, and quality delivery. She previously served as Director of Professional Services, Epic Practice and Senior Consultant/Manager at Beacon Partners, and Physiologists, Cardiopulmonary Department, Epic Implementation Project Team at NorthShore Health System.

“Noel has a fruitful track record of leading, facilitating, and implementing major systems and initiatives that drive growth and generate new business,” said Leidos Health and Infrastructure Group President, Jon Scholl. “Her expertise and exceptional skills will play an integral part in expanding our healthcare IT and professional services organization.”

Allender hold a Bachelor of Science from Kent State University and a Master of Science from Wake Forest University. She is Epic Certified and is a member of the Northern Ohio Chapter of HIMSS.
