Susan Stein, CEO of Connexion Healthcare (Newtown, Pa.), has been appointed to the board of directors of Global Genes. Founded in 2009, Global Genes is a patient advocacy organization in the rare disease community.
Ms. Stein has received numerous awards for her work in healthcare, including being named one of Philadelphia Business Journal's "Women of Distinction." She has been instrumental in improving Connexion Healthcare, leading it to be named one of Philadelphia Business Journal's top 25 women-owned businesses.
