Sharp Grossmont Hospital and the Grossmont Healthcare District announced the beginning of construction on a new Heart and Vascular Center located on the hospital's campus in La Mesa, Calif.
The new three-story, 71,000-square-foot center will feature new cardiac catheterization labs and multipurpose procedural rooms. The estimated construction costs of $60 million will be taxpayer-financed.
