50 RNs Plan Picket at Montana's Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital Over Denied Dispute Resolution

Fifty registered nurses plan to launch an information picket outside Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, Mont., over the right to a third party dispute resolution, according to a Missoulian report.

The nurses' contract with the hospital expired this year, and the two parties are currently in negotiations for the next contract. According to the report, the nurses have been denied the right to a third party dispute resolution, which allows any dispute between union employees and the hospital to go to a mediator or third-party arbitrator for a resolution.

The informational picket is scheduled for Aug. 24. The hospital is expected to release a statement next week.
